COVID-19 – Muskham Swimming Club reopening

I hope everyone is well and staying safe.

With the news that pools are reopening on the 26th July I thought I would send out a message explaining where we are.

With the opening date leaving us only 1 session before the summer break I have taken the decision to hold off reopening until the 6th September 2020. I will be sending out further information closer to that date to explain how the swimming will work as this is an ever changing picture.

Newark Sports and Fitness Centre are looking to change our swim time to 1715-1830 on a Sunday. This seems to be fine for the teachers however it may not be fine for the swimmers. So could I ask any swimmers who cannot make the new times (1715-1745 for session 1 small and big pool and session 2 1745-1830) please contact me via email muskhamsc@gmail.com. I do not have access to Facebook so please don’t message me there.

Finally we have not been resting during the this strange time! Our 2 new teachers Stephen and Kate have been working away and should both have passed there level 1 and 2 teaching awards by the time we return. Please let me know if you can spare some time for helping out especially poolside for our return in September.
